SAVE NIAGARA FALLS! REMOVE THE ROBERT MOSES PARKWAY!
Sign the online petition HERE.
Currently, the Niagara Heritage Partnership advocates the removal of the 6.5 mile section of the Robert Moses Parkway which runs along the top of the Niagara Gorge from Niagara Falls, New York, to Lewiston, New York, restoring the natural environment (indigenous trees, grasslands, wildflowers), and creating hiking and biking paths along the entire length.
The Niagara River, its Falls, and the lower river gorge have been viewed by millions of people who traveled many miles to enjoy the natural scenery. Niagara is valued by all of us, residents, visitors, and people who have not yet had the opportunity to visit, but who treasure the unspoiled natural world. Please let your opinion be known. Help us to reclaim this wonderful landscape.
For detailed information on the Niagara Heritage Partnership proposal, please visit our web page at http://www.niagaraheritage.org/nhp_summary%20sept%202004.htm.
